Today we prepare a super easy and super fast chocolate cake with a twist! This recipe does not require butter or egg! Its my go-to recipe when I need a cake baked for a friend or family member’s birthday. It was my husbands birthday a week back and due to the covid-19 pandemic we have not been stepping out at all. But would that stop us from the mandatory 12am cake cutting celebration? NOWAY!
I also recommend baking this cake on a weekend, and enjoying it all through the week when you crave for something sweet but there’s no time to cook then. I use my robust Samsung oven for this recipe. Have been using the same oven for grilling my chicken, warming up dishes, making my coffee and it has never let me down. Used my nutri bullet to blend all the dry ingredients .
Basic
- Maida - 1.5 cups
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1/2 cup
- Chocolate syrup - 4 tbsp
- Coffee powder - 1 tbsp
Additional
- Biscuit packets - 2 (preferably Parle G)
Best enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream!
